We’re excited to announce the release of Senbee 1.1.0 — a version packed with over 80 fixes and small improvements across the platform. From smoother workflows to more accurate details in your data, this release makes Senbee sharper, faster, and more reliable.
But that’s just the warm-up. This release also introduces a major milestone for us: the Senbee Billing Platform 1.0 (beta). Before we dive into that, let’s start with some notable changes.
Over 80 bug fixes and enhancements across the board. Stability, performance, and usability got a serious boost.
Dimension update: What used to be called Company is now called Customer. This small but important renaming reflects the real-world flexibility of Senbee: managing customers, suppliers, and even internal roles seamlessly within your People list.
The star of this release is our brand-new Billing Platform. Built to give you full control over products, ad-hoc invoicing, and subscriptions, it’s a system designed for flexibility, automation, and future-proof scalability.

In short: subscriptions aren’t just automated, they’re intelligent.
Not everything fits neatly into a subscription. For that, we’ve built ad-hoc invoicing:
Add one-off invoice lines for things like project-based work, product sales, or time tracking.
Gather multiple items in a draft and invoice them together, or schedule them for future billing (e.g. every 1st of the month).

Full support for multi-currency, tax rules, discounts, and pricebooks, just like subscriptions.
This gives you the agility to handle exceptions without breaking your structured billing flow.
No matter if it’s subscriptions or ad-hoc invoices, everything flows into the Invoice Queue. This centralized view lets you review, adjust, and send data directly into your ERP.

In this release, invoices are still manually pushed to your ERP. But the exciting part? In the next release, our first ERP integration (e-conomic) will go live. That means fully automated invoicing, synchronization of products, and customer data — creating a self-driving billing system.
