Senbee Connect API

Summary We are building a complete, unified API layer for Senbee Connect. This API will expose structured endpoints across the entire platform, making it possible for customers, partners, and integrators to programmatically access and manipulate core Senbee data. Scope The API will support querying and data operations for: Customers and organisations People and identities Facilities, rooms, and spaces Custom databases and collections Operational and environmental data streams Billing and usage data Module configuration and metadata Key Features Consistent, well documented endpoint architecture OAuth2 based authentication and permission scoping Real time and asynchronous endpoints where appropriate Strong typing and validation Webhooks for change events (customers, facilities, access, etc.) Rate limiting and API keys for partners Backwards compatible versioning Outcome This API becomes the backbone for future integrations, partner solutions, automation workflows and third party tooling. It enables customers to build on top of Senbee Connect without relying on custom one offs or direct database interaction. Target Q2-3 release in sync with the Senbee Connect platform launch, with beta access for selected partners earlier.

Allow decimals in "m2 leje" field (Opret nyt Tremmerum)

I want the "m2 leje" field in the "Opret nyt Tremmerum" form to support decimal values (e.g., 3,6). Currently, it only accepts whole numbers (integers), which causes a validation error when entering decimals. This is important for accurate registration of storage room sizes.

Salto Access Control Extension

This extension deepens our integration with Salto, enabling richer access management across buildings. It adds real time synchronisation of users, doors, and permissions, supports instant credential updates, and provides unified monitoring of all Salto events inside Senbee Connect. The result is a smoother, more automated access control experience that ties directly into the rest of the platform.

Social (Bulletin Board)

Description: Introduce a feature that allows administrators to post updates, announcements, and news on a central board. Posts can include events, notifications, and other relevant information, with the option to push updates to users. Key Features (initial scope): Administrator-managed posting interface Central “board” view for users Support for text posts (later expandable to images/files) Ability to highlight/pin important posts Push notifications for new or critical announcements Rationale: Creates a central communication channel within the platform for timely updates and community engagement, reducing reliance on external channels.

People Off-boarding

Enables immediate and planned off-boarding of people

Improve data entry when creating new Dimensions

Add more fields for data entry when creating new dimensions. The idea is to avoid having to edit the dimension immediately after creation.

Notifications to new Admin Users

When a new administrative account is created, the system will automatically send an email notification or welcome letter. This ensures that administrators are promptly informed of their account activation, receive essential onboarding details, and can begin using the platform without delay.

Feed

We’re introducing a new social extension inside My Senbee — a shared feed where customers can post updates, insights, events, and announcements. It’s designed to make knowledge and inspiration flow naturally between companies, teams, and buildings using Senbee. You’ll be able to share posts, browse others’ updates, and keep up with what’s happening across your community — all without leaving My Senbee.

Building Data Overview, Filtering + Unified Company/People Cards

Problem Data is currently hard to get an overview of across buildings, and key information about a person or company is spread across multiple places in the UI. Goal Make it significantly easier to filter data in Senbee and ensure that all relevant information about a company and a person is collected directly on the Company card and People card. Description Following an internal UI workshop, we will implement improvements to create a clearer overview of data distributed across buildings. This includes a stronger filtering experience and consolidation of data into the Company and People cards, so that information about a person and their company is unified in one place (rooms, keys, desks, financials, etc.).

Keyfob/Keys Exstension

Objective: Enable the Keyfob module within People. Goal: Support the creation and management of RFID, MIFARE DESFire, and other keyfobs linked to individuals in the database. Impact: Provides essential functionality for access control, serving as a prerequisite for modules such as AEOS Nedap Access Control and G4S.

Resource Booking and Scheduling

This extension lets teams reserve and manage shared resources—meeting rooms, equipment, vehicles, or any limited asset—directly within the platform. It provides an intuitive calendar interface with real-time availability, smart conflict detection, and automated reminders. Admins can set booking rules, define capacities, and generate usage reports to spot trends and optimize allocation.
