Learn how to import your data into Senbee Connect

Import Data

Dimensions represent entities such as companies, departments, roles, vendors, and more. Use the import tool to bulk-add or update these records.
The process is identical for all dimension types, but required fields differ slightly.

People imports let you create or update user and contact profiles in bulk, including their roles and basic credentials.

Add new people to Senbee so they can be onboarded, assigned to dimensions, and given access to services.

Attach companies, departments, or other dimension types to a person’s profile to ensure accurate grouping and permissions.

Viewing and Using the Activity Log

When someone no longer needs access to Senbee, you can either deactivate their account to suspend access or remove it entirely.

Custom Fields

Once you’ve created a custom database in Senbee Connect, you can define the specific types of data it should contain by adding custom fields. Fields let you structure and categorize the information stored within your database.

The Text Field is a general-purpose input designed for names, titles, short labels, or any string of text.

The Select Field provides a single-choice dropdown from a predefined list. Ideal for categories or status tracking.

Custom Databases

In Senbee Connect, administrators can create custom databases within any category to store and manage unique datasets.

For example, if you want to track ESG data for buildings, you can create a custom database directly in the Buildings category.

Collections

Collections let you define custom datasets inside Senbee and connect them to people, facilities, and other entities.
They act as flexible containers for any type of structured information—think of them as your own tailor-made databases within the platform.

Create a custom dataset in Senbee to model anything your organization needs, and place it in the left-hand navigation where it belongs.

Fields define the structure of your collection.
Each record in the collection will include these fields, which can be text, numbers, dates, relationships to other datasets, and more.

Editing or Deleting a Collection

These links make it possible to filter, report, and navigate across datasets seamlessly.

Linking Collections to People and Facilities

Once the data management feature is live, you can create, view, and edit individual records inside any collection you’ve built.
This turns your collection into a fully functioning dataset that you can search, filter, and relate to other parts of Senbee.
