Importing Rooms

Use the import tool to add or update facility and floor-based rooms in bulk.

Steps

  1. Open the Import Tool

    From Settings → Import Data, choose Rooms.

  2. Upload CSV

    • Use the downloadable template if needed.

    • Upload your CSV and set the delimiter.

    • Confirm the first row is a header.

  3. Map Fields

    Match each CSV column to the correct system field.

    • Required: Room Name and a valid Floor ID (fm_floors_id).

      • To find a Floor ID, open the floor’s detail page and copy its identifier.

    • Optional numeric fields such as gross or net area must be plain decimals using a dot as the separator (e.g., 145.5).

  4. Preview & Validate

    Review the preview list and fix any flagged issues.

  5. Import

    Select Start Import to push the validated room data into your system.
